"I just got a beautiful raw stone for cutting, and after shaping it into a stunning 14-carat pear-cut morganite, I realized that a traditional setting wouldn’t reveal its full beauty. The gemstone glows with a soft pink color, with the most intense shade at the tip and base. This made me experiment with different angles to find the perfect way to set it.

Ultimately, I found the best angle to reveal the soft melting lavender accents in morganite’s pink color, allowing its delicate play of light to unfold fully. Another special detail of this ring is the "floating diamonds", which I placed at the same angle as the main gemstone. This makes the whole design feel lighter and more elegant. From the owner’s view, you see the full beauty of the stone. From an observer's view, you're intrigued by a pink cloud somehow suspended on the finger, radiating flashes of light from every turn.

The massive prongs holding the gemstone remind me of a flamingo’s beak, which inspired the design. I also used my favorite setting technique—floating diamonds—to make the composition feel even lighter. The design reflects Japanese philosophy—balance, simplicity, and the beauty of natural forms. At first, it looks like a modern and elegant ring, but if you look closely, you might see the shape of a flamingo in its lines. It’s just a hint, leaving room for your imagination."
