“I would like to once again speak about the Signature Collection of SORAbyK.P. — the Metropolis collection. Within this collection, we have presented two new sets that very precisely reflect the very essence of Metropolis, a collection so deeply loved by our clients.

The main focus of the Metropolis collection lies in large, high-carat colored gemstones — objectively stones of significant size and in the way these expressive stones are integrated into a clean, graphic design.

In this case, we are speaking of 22-carat peridots set in earrings, as well as heliodor. All of these gemstones were cut by SORAbyK.P. Their beauty lies not only in their exquisite, joyful color, especially relevant on the eve of spring, but also in the way this color is revealed through high-precision cutting, and then further expressed through the form and design of the jewelry itself.

The refined design of the earrings draws attention through its facets and details. These include facets engraved on the inner gold surface, as well as a multi-level setting of the central gemstones, a technique I very often enjoy working with, rotating the stones and opening them in a truly distinctive and unique way. All of the facets on the gold become a natural continuation of the sparkling facets of the colored gemstones themselves.

For us, it is essential that a piece of jewelry is not only aesthetically expressive, but also functional. Despite their impressive weight, these earrings are perfectly balanced and sit comfortably on the earlobe, as SORAbyK.P. pays special attention to fit and wearing comfort.

The next set within the Metropolis collection is titled Kokoshniks. At its core are the soft lines of the traditional Russian kokoshnik, its vaulted form and that very feminine plasticity which became my starting point and was reinterpreted in a contemporary, graphic key.

Here, I would especially like to draw attention to the pastel, delicate beauty of the tourmalines, which were also cut by SORAbyK.P. And to how airy and open the stone is presented in the ring. It is sparkling, actively interacts with light, and despite its substantial size appears surprisingly delicate.
The form of the ring possesses a distinctive architectural plasticity, it invites you to examine it from all sides in order to understand how the entire composition is constructed and assembled.
