Shipping and Insurance Policy

We offer worldwide shipping through trusted carriers such as FedEx, Brink’s, or Malca-Amit, selected based on your location and the value of your purchase, with all shipping and insurance costs covered by us. Every piece is dispatched fully insured, and a signature upon delivery will be required where applicable. We make every effort to ensure your order reaches you promptly; however, delivery timelines are subject to carrier and logistics conditions beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for resulting delays. Please note that all international orders are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. International shipments may be subject to customs fees, import duties, taxes, and other charges required for customs clearance, which remain the sole responsibility of the recipient. Return & Exchange Policy

We understand that jewelry is often chosen as a gift. Even the most thoughtful choice may need a small adjustment, whether it's a different pearl tone, metal color, or gemstone palette. That's why we aim to be as flexible and supportive as possible, so you can purchase with confidence and refine your selection if needed. We kindly ask you to review our return and exchange conditions carefully prior to making a purchase. Should you have any questions, our boutique team is always happy to assist.

(a) How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our boutique team at info@sorabykp.com within five (5) business days of the purchase date, or within five (5) business days of the delivery date for online orders, including your proof of purchase and the reason for your request.

Your request will be reviewed and, if eligible, you will receive a written Return Authorization confirmation from our team. No item may be returned or sent to us without a Return Authorization having been issued in advance. Any item received without prior written authorization will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at the sender’s cost.

Alternatively, you are welcome to visit us in person at our boutique at 455 Madison Avenue, New York, where our team will assist you and process your written return or exchange request directly. All in-boutique return and exchange requests must be submitted in writing at the time of the visit.

If you anticipate needing additional time beyond the standard five (5) business day window, please contact our team in advance. Any extension is at our sole discretion, is valid only when confirmed in writing by our team, and does not create a precedent for future requests.

(b) Condition of Returned Items

All returns and exchanges are subject to inspection upon receipt. To be eligible, the piece must be returned in its original, unworn condition, showing no signs of wear, scratches, damage, or alteration of any kind. The following must accompany the return:

  • Original tags, intact and attached;Full original packaging, including box and pouches;

  • All certificates and documentation provided at purchase, including gemstone and pearl certificates where applicable;

  • Original sales receipt or other valid proof of purchase.

(c) Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

The following items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances:

•  Custom-made, personalized, engraved, or otherwise individually commissioned creations;

•  Items that do not pass our condition inspection, including pieces showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration;

•  Items returned without original tags, packaging, certificates, or proof of purchase;

•  Items returned without a valid Return Authorization;

•  All international orders shipped outside USA.

Items that are not accepted will be returned to the client at the client’s cost.

(d) Right to Expert Verification

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to require expert verification of any item submitted for return or exchange. This assessment may include evaluation of gemstone and pearl authenticity, condition assessment (including signs of wear or damage), and verification that the item returned is the original piece sold. If the assessment confirms signs of wear, damage, alteration, or that the item cannot be verified as the original purchased piece, we will not be able to proceed with the return or exchange, and the item will be returned to the client.

We reserve the right to decline any return or exchange where we have reasonable grounds to believe that the item returned is not the piece originally sold by SORA by K.P.

(e) Eligibility by Purchaser

We understand that jewelry is often chosen as a gift, and that even the most thoughtful selection may call for a small adjustment. With that in mind, while the right to request a return is available exclusively to the original purchaser, as identified in the sales receipt, we do wish to accommodate gift recipients where possible.

Gift recipients are not eligible to request a return. However, a gift recipient may request an exchange, subject to all other conditions of this policy, including our right to conduct expert verification as set out in section (d).

(f) Exchanges and Refunds

Purchases with a value above $30,000 are eligible for exchange only and are not eligible for a refund. The original purchase value is applied as a boutique deposit toward the new selection.

•  If the new piece exceeds the deposit value, the difference is payable at the time of exchange.

•  If the new piece is of a lower value, the remaining balance is retained as an in-store credit for future use and is not redeemable for cash.

Purchases up to $30,000 are subject to the same exchange terms as above: if the new piece exceeds the value of the original purchase, the difference is payable at the time of exchange; if it is of a lower value, the remaining balance is retained as an in-store credit and is not redeemable for cash.

In addition, clients in this tier may request a return and refund rather than an exchange. Refunds are issued only after the item passes inspection and are processed to the original form of payment.

•  For card payments, the refund is issued strictly to the same card used for the original purchase. A payment processing fee of 3% applies and will be deducted from the refunded amount.

•  For non-card payments, refunds are provided in cash or by transfer to payment details provided by the client.

We will use all reasonable commercial efforts to process approved refunds promptly. Refunds to card accounts depend on the policies of the issuing bank. Delays in processing that are beyond our reasonable control are outside our responsibility.

(g) Return Shipping for Online Orders

The return and exchange conditions set out above apply equally to online orders; to initiate a request, please contact us at info@sorabykp.com, quoting your order number and the reason for your request.

Once your Return Authorization has been issued, the item must be shipped back to us within five (5) business days. Returns dispatched after this period may not be accepted.

You are responsible for arranging and funding the return shipment. We recommend using a tracked service and insuring the piece for its full value; if you need guidance, our team is happy to help. SORA by K.P. does not assume responsibility for loss or damage during return transit. Where an item was damaged in transit or carries a manufacturing defect, return shipping costs are generally covered by us; please contact our team to discuss. All such cases remain subject to our right to expert verification as set out in section (d).
